Our Accommodation & Living Options

At Shenehom Housing Association, we offer both a main residential home and a semi-independent living unit, providing stable housing for mental health recovery in South West London. The main home contains 11 fully furnished, private bedrooms, each lockable and complete with personal touches like washbasins and secure cupboards. Residents are warmly encouraged to bring belongings, personalise their room, and participate in decisions on redecoration, helping to create a true sense of belonging.

For those ready to take the next step towards independence, our semi-independent unit houses two residents. It's ideal for those seeking increased autonomy and responsibility, supported all the way by our person-centred mental health support team. Privacy is paramount: staff only enter residents' rooms with explicit permission, ensuring a respectful and supportive environment.

Personalised Support
& Key Working

Each resident benefits from a dedicated Key Worker who meets regularly with them to foster recovery and wellbeing. Working together, residents co-create care plans that reflect personal strengths and aspirations.

Key Workers offer emotional, practical, and financial support, help residents access specialist mental health services, and can act as advocates when needed. Should an independent advocate be preferred, arrangements are made smoothly, always keeping the resident's best interest at the centre.

Care Planning & Reviews

Care at Shenehom Housing Association is outcome-focused and collaborative. Personalised care plans are co-developed, based on individual needs, strengths, and ambitions.

These plans centre around maintaining positive change and work towards meaningful milestones. Reviews are carried out every six months, in addition to an annual psychiatrist review (usually onsite).

Residents may invite family, friends, or advocates to join these discussions, reinforcing our person-centred mental health support approach.
